Who we are

Educational publishing, rooted in Eswatini

Imisebe Publishing is a wholly EmaSwati-owned educational publishing house, established in 2009 and based in Manzini. For over seventeen years we have developed, authored, designed, printed and distributed teaching and learning materials adopted at primary, secondary and high school level across the Kingdom of Eswatini.

Since 2012, Imisebe titles have been continuously prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training — from the 2012 English literature set-works through to Litsafa, prescribed for 2026.

The meaning of our name

Imisebe Yelilanga literally means “the rays of the sun.” The sun, as a symbol of light and illumination, expresses our mandate: to enlighten the nation through the written word — and in doing so, to illuminate the future of our children.

  • New-curriculum materials in active development with specialist consultants
  • 40+ foundational-phase readers and 30+ classroom charts already in print
  • Junior Secondary CBE projects under way across seven subjects

International Read Aloud Day 2022

World Read Aloud Day 2022

/
Imisebe Publishing celebrated International Read Aloud Day in style by visiting the Mbasheni Primary School Resource Centre for children with special needs. Our team of volunteers had the pleasure of reading stories with the children, promoting literacy, and a love of reading. We also donated educational materials to the school, hoping to make a positive impact on the students' learning experience. Join us in our commitment to promoting literacy and education for all, especially children with special needs, and help build a brighter future for young learners.
