Imisebe Publishing Company has launched an online spelling competition to promote the use of the siSwati language as an instructional medium at all levels of education in Eswatini. The competition is aimed at recognizing the mother tongue as an essential component of education and is supported by the Ministry of Education and Training. The event was held to commemorate the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated every February around the world, with this year’s theme being ‘Multilingual Education: A Necessity to Transform Education
