Imisebe Publishing recently celebrated International Read Aloud Day by visiting the Mbasheni Primary School Resource Centre for children with special needs. This event was part of our commitment to social responsibility and promoting literacy for all.

On February 2nd, 2022, our team of volunteers had the pleasure of reading stories to the children, who were delighted by the colorful illustrations and engaging narratives. It was heartwarming to see the excitement on their faces as they learned about new characters, places, and ideas.

As part of our commitment to the community, we also donated educational materials to the school, hoping to make a positive impact on the students’ learning experience. We believe that every child should have access to quality education and the resources they need to thrive.

Reading aloud is a powerful way to engage with children and help them develop vital skills such as critical thinking, vocabulary, and imagination. By reading to them, we not only help children improve their literacy skills, but we also promote a love of reading that will stay with them throughout their lives.

At Mbasheni Primary School Resource Centre, we were honored to share our love of books with the children and make a difference in their lives. We hope to continue working with the school and other organizations to promote literacy and education for all.

In conclusion, Imisebe Publishing is committed to promoting literacy and education, especially for children who may face extra challenges due to special needs. Our visit to Mbasheni Primary School Resource Centre was a meaningful experience, and we look forward to continuing our work with the community. We encourage everyone to join us in this mission, whether by reading to your own children, donating books, or volunteering in your local community. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of young learners and help them build a brighter future.
