Imisebe Publishing partnered with the Ministry of Education and Training to make the 2026 National Teachers’ Day commemoration a memorable occasion, demonstrating its continued commitment to supporting educators and recognising their invaluable contributions to education in Eswatini.

The celebration was held under the theme “Standing with Teachers: 60 Years of Protecting the Profession, Advancing Its Status and Shaping Our Futures.” The theme highlighted the importance of recognising teachers and their role in shaping the nation’s future.

As part of its contribution, Imisebe Publishing provided E15,000 to reward ten outstanding teachers: five primary school teachers and five high school teachers. Each teacher received a voucher worth E1,500 to spend at Sibebe Resort as a token of appreciation for their dedication and service to learners.

In addition, each teacher received a hamper containing two SiSwati dictionaries and other items. The dictionaries reflected Imisebe Publishing’s commitment to promoting literacy, preserving the SiSwati language, and encouraging a culture of reading in schools.

In his remarks, the Minister of Education and Training, Hon. Owen Nxumalo, emphasised that teachers are the foundation of every profession, shaping the doctors, engineers, nurses, entrepreneurs, and other professionals who contribute to national development.

Through this partnership, Imisebe Publishing reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education, promoting literacy, and recognising the dedicated teachers who play a vital role in shaping Eswatini’s future. The initiative highlighted the importance of collaboration between the private sector and government in appreciating educators and strengthening the education sector.

Imisebe Publishing extends its heartfelt appreciation to all teachers for their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to nurturing future generations. The company remains committed to supporting initiatives that encourage reading, promote the SiSwati language, and contribute to educational development across the country.

As Eswatini celebrates its teachers, Imisebe Publishing joins the nation in honouring these everyday heroes, whose knowledge, guidance, and inspiration continue to shape lives and build a brighter future.

Siyabonga kakhulu to all our teachers for the remarkable work you do. Your contribution to the nation is invaluable, and your impact will continue to be felt for generations to come.
