Education Minister Owen Nxumalo’s Insightful Visit to Imisebe Publishing

Imisebe Publishing had the distinct honor of hosting the Honourable Minister of Education, Owen Nxumalo, on an official courtesy visit to its offices in Manzini. The purpose of the visit was for the Minister to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operations of the publishing company, a crucial player in the educational landscape of Eswatini.

Upon arrival, the Minister and his entourage were warmly welcomed by Imisebe’s Managing Director, Hlob’sile Stromvig, the Board Chairman, Elias Ndwandwe, and the Financial Director, Isaac Dlamini. The Minister’s entourage included the Undersecretary and School’s Manager, Lungelo Hlengetfwa.

Expressing gratitude for the Minister’s valuable time, Imisebe’s Board Chairman officially welcomed him before the Managing Director provided an insightful overview of the company’s operations. The Minister, accompanied by his entourage, embarked on a comprehensive tour of the various departments within Imisebe Publishing.

Starting with the Publishing Department, the Minister gained insights into the critical role it plays and the specific expertise required for individuals working in this domain. The Marketing Department then showcased its responsibilities, highlighting its active presence at cultural events in schools and teacher workshops. The Minister was also briefed on the company’s digital operations, spanning from our official website to the Facebook page.

The tour continued to the Customer Services Department, where the Minister learned about its pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction. The final leg of the visit took the Minister to the Warehouse sections, where Imisebe’s extensive collection of educational books is safely stored.

Impressed by the well-structured work environment and the seamless coordination among different departments, the Honourable Minister shared positive feedback during his closing speech.
